Story

COVID-19 was first reported in Wuhan, China, and subsequently spread worldwide. This pandemic changed our lives drastically and inflicted fear on how we see the world now. During this pandemic, there has been a lot of job loss and restrictions but also this was the time a lot of new opportunities and new job roles were discovered. One of those opportunities was with WellHealth. WellHealth is a precision primary care company based in DFW that continuously drives new clinical capabilities with strong technology enablement to deliver quality healthcare. When the COVID-19 pandemic emerged, the WellHealth team established unique protocols to address the intense rising healthcare needs and delivered a comprehensive set of medical and safety protocols to our patient populations, including comprehensive diagnostics and virtual and in-clinic clinical protocols. As the COVID-19 pandemic spread exponentially, WellHealth expanded their testing initiative and have tested over 1 million people across the nation since March 2020, in partnership with state and local government, not-for-profit and for-profit companies, and health systems. I am delighted to say that I had a great opportunity to work for such a great firm at this time as a supply chain analyst. When I am completing my 5 months at this firm I could say all days at the workplace was a new learning experience for me and I thank all my superiors who took their time in teaching me the right way when I made a mistake and supporting me for all the initiatives and ideas which allowed me to think outside the box for a solution when tackled with a problem and always encouraged me to go ahead and try all those technical skills that I developed during my graduate studies at UTD. I could easily say WellHealth have one of the best work culture and people that I have met in my life who are experts in their field and from whom I had great learning experiences. I would also like to thank The University of Texas at Dallas for refining my skills and providing the students with such a great platform for my internship pursuit.
